Items we cannot accept.
When making donations, we kindly request that you do not bring items that are soiled, unclean, or that should be discarded.
That said, please don’t worry about a little wear. Donated clothing and linens with small stains or holes that we can’t put out for sale are passed along to a textile recycler rather than the landfill — so nothing usable ever goes to waste.

Want to volunteer with us?
The Nifty Thrifty runs on volunteers who sort, organize, and prep the donations that fill our shelves. Stop by the Crisis Center office to sign up, and read the handbook for hours and what to expect.
